Cup Brush

Details

The perfect tool for sanding truck beds before applying a spray on bed liner. The flexible nylon filaments easily sand every contour of the truck bed. They offer superior performance when compared to steel or aluminum oxide filaments.

These cup brushes are equal to 80 grit sandpaper leaving a ideal profile for the spray on bed liner to bond and adhere to. With less effort than hand sanding, better coverage than a DA/Orbital sander and unbeatable speed the 5 inch cup brush is unmatched.

Nylon Filaments

The 5 inch cup brush utilizes nylon filaments that are impregnated with silicon carbide, a chemical compound that forms an extremely hard, iridescent crystal. Silicon carbide has a very fast cutting speed reducing prep time.

Only the tips of the brush do the work, consequently only light pressure is required to achieve effective brushing action. Excessive operating pressure will reduce the service life of the brush.

Easy Attachment

Easily attaches to pneumatic or electric sander/polishers with 5/8" 11 pitch spindles.

Recommended operating speed is between 500 and 1500 RPM. Operating brush at speeds over recommended range increases heat buildup, which may reduce brush effectiveness and the life of the brush.
